Carole Ann Knapp

Carole Knapp 69 of Port Charlotte, FL passed away September 24, 2009. She was born November 13, 1939 in Akron, OH to Crawford and Ila McNeil. Carole was a loving housewife and mother for many years but eventually went on to attend Beauty School, first becoming a nail tech and then going on to graduate from Cosmetology School at the age of 56. She did this after recovering from her first bout with cancer, but was forced to retire when her cancer returned.

Survivor include: her Four Children, Randy Jeanie Knapp, Brimfield, OH, David Sherry Knapp, Port Charlotte, FL, Jeff Brenda Knapp, Port Charlotte, FL and Julie Marion Christy, Port Charlotte, FL; Twelve grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren with one on the way, Two Brothers, Edwin Marilyn McNeil, Malvern, OH, Gary McNeil, Crossville, TN and 2 sisters Lois Jacobs, Naples, FL, Karen Berwin Bryte, Beloit, OH, Carol was preceded in death by her mother and father Ila and Crawford and by her husband David of 52 years. Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 28, 2009 from 6-7 P.M. with a Memorial services starting at 6:30 P.M. at the Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood Chapel.
