

Caroline Batson, a resident of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota Florida, she was 81 years old.
Caroline was born in Philadelphia Pa. on July 3, 1945, daughter of the late Robert H. Adair, Sr. and Margaret (Miller) Adair, she was a longtime resident of Philadelphia, Pa. and resided in Columbia, Md. And Ellicott City Md. She worked many years as a seamstress/tailor, later in life she obtained her accounting certificate and worked for the Internal Revenue Service.
Caroline along with her husband John were a devout Christians and active church members, involved with Baptist Fellowships wherever they resided. She enjoyed the Philly Mummers Parade, seasonal camping at Little Red Barn, Homestead and Ringing Rocks Campground in Bucks County Pa. She also enjoyed her several pets (cats, dogs, birds and fishes) she had over the years now joining them over the “Rainbow Bridge”.
Caroline joins her late husband John G. Batson and her late brother Thomas Adair, she leaves her brothers Robert Adair Jr. of North Port, Fl., her youngest brother John Adair and his wife Francine of Orefield Pa. and numerous nephews, and cousins.
There is no memorial services scheduled at this time, in lieu of flowers and gifts, in honor of Caroline's love for animals, her family requests contributions be made to The Sanctuary at Haafsville, PO Box 921, Fogelsville, PA 18051.
