Catherine Davis

Catherine "Cathy" Pamela Helle Davis, age 75, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 30th. 2026 with her daughter by her side.

​Born on January 8, 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia to Eugene and Marian Helle. Cathy grew up with a passion for swimming, softball and various other sports. After graduating from Florida State University, she spent 35 years working as an educator, where she was known for her love, passion, and lasting impacts she made on her students.

Those who knew Cathy will remember her for her sense of humor, kindness, and heart of gold. She was happiest when spending time with family and visiting Disney Parks. She also enjoyed anything Snoopy related and had a large collection of all things Snoopy. Her legacy will live on through everyone she loved and impacted in a positive way. To have known Cathy was to know what real friendship and love was.

​Cathy is survived by her daughter Loren Michelle Davis and son Christopher Evan Davis. She leaves behind 2 grand daughters (from her daughter), Cathlynne " Cat" Elise and Elyssa "Elle" Lianne, and 2 grandchildren (from her son) Raven and Logan. Cathy also leaves behind her nieces Melissa (her kids Wesley and Vera), Stefanie (her kids Allen and Elena), Jennifer, and nephews James (His kids Julia and Leland), Matthew (his kids Josie and Wyatt), and Chad. Cathy also leaves behind her sister in laws Carolyn and Sandy. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert "Bob", and parents Eugene and Marian.
