Clyde R. Rinehart, 79, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away December 15, 2009 while in the hospital in Tallahassee, FL. He was born April 13, 1930 in Oaktown, Indiana and was a US Army veteran. Clyde was a self employed auto mechanic in Punta Gorda for many years. He owned and operated Clyde's Automatic Transmission Service till retiring fifteen years ago. He was a former member of the Englewood United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janis Rinehart, his son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Vicki Rinehart and several grandchildren.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Clyde's life will be held after the holidays in Tallahassee, FL. Memorial donations may be directed to Clyde's church, the Wakulla United Methodist Church, 1584 Old Woodville Rd, Crawfordville, FL 32327.
