
David W. Comello of Englewood, Florida passed away on January 12, 2014 at the age of 60. David lived in Englewood, Florida and the cause of death was long standing illness David was born July 18, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Thelma and Albert Comello.
Surviving David are his brother and sisters, Lee Comello Reid, Carol Comello Tarr, Albert Comello Jr., and Dawn Comello Osborne,. He is preceded in death by his brother Doug (2008) and his parents. Thelma Comello (1989)and Albert Comello (1993). He leaves behind his beloved dog, Buddy and nine very independent cats. Also surviving David are his 13 nieces and nephews: Walter Tarr, Chris Tarr, Brook Osborne, Wendi Comello, Rick Comello, Kim Reid Nicol, Michelle Reid Davis, Mike Reid, Rex Reid, Suzanne Reid Kapplemann, Toni Reid, and Nikki Reid Ellinger and over 20 grand nephews and nieces.
David Comello was an easy going man who loved animals and people of all ages and different walks of life. David lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, Orlando and Englewood, Florida. He loved sports of all kinds, played softball, and was an avid supporter of all teams from his home town of Cincinnati.
Stories of his friendliness abound as people remember David as a kid and adult. Dave spent many a hour behind a bar as a bartender where he charmed and amused thousands of patrons with his wit, insight, and sincerity. David was everybody's friend. His business cohorts in Orlando where they all worked together for two decades have express extreme sorrow at Dave's passing. A memorial for David is planned for Sunday April 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at Chadwick Park (Located between Flounders Restaurant and the White Elephant Restaurant on the Point)at Englewood Beach, Florida and Orlando, Fl. on April 26. Time and place will be posted on Dave's Facebook page and this obituary.
