We here, back home in NY, that grew up with and/or knew Dave, are all saddened to hear of this sad and tragic loss. Dave was an amazing, unique person, with talents far beyond most of us out there. He was an AMAZING artist all around. His drawing and artistic ability was something to be admired and awed. Wow- could he draw! His musical talents were also incredible- what an amazing drummer!! There is no one that could ever say an unkind word abut Dave. He was a pillar of strength and courage throughout many "battles". Dave had a zest for life. Although distance and years may have kept many people apart, it is still painful to lose one of our "own", especially at such a young age, and such a special and well-liked person. David Laird- you were loved during the time you were here and you will be sorely missed! Sending prayers and condolences to the Laird Family. Please know how much your David was loved and how he touched so many people's lives, throughout his lifetime. He will never, EVER be forgotten.
