Donald A. Dawson, 83 died Monday, May 14th, 2012 surrounded by his loving family and in the loving arms of his granddaughter. Donald was born on January 1, 1929 in Logansport, Indiana. He married his high school sweetheart and Sunday school friend Marcia. He moved to Venice, Florida in 1968 with Marcia and their four children.
Donald is survived by his four children; Dawn A Teed, I Chad Dawson, Cindy I Skaggs (George), and Teresa A. Dawson, nine grandchildren; Erica White, Donald O'Shea (Courtnee), Erin Parrett (Ryan), Ashlie Solgot (Tony), Ryan Skaggs, Jessica Teed, Anthony Teed, Matthew Dawson, and Melyssa Dawson, Six great grandchildren; Korie Garrison, Austin White, Jeslyn O'Shea, Miranda White, Ashtyn O'Shea, and Liberty Solgot, and one great great grandchild: Connor Reese Garrison,
Donald was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Marcia Dawson, and their first born son Jerry Dawson. Donald was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
