Dear Deb & Judy, I am so sad at the passing of your dad and husband.  He was a wonderful person, and it was a pleasure knowing him, even for such a short time.  It will be hard to forget the Venice triathlon and Thanksgiving, 2008.  My thoughts, prayers and love are with you.  May God bless you and your family.

 There are not enough words for me to say how sadden I am about your father. Talk about just a complete shock. We have met a few times and he was a joy to be with. I am so glad that you had me over for Thanksgiving and I was able to have a few laughs with him. I am sorry that we didn't get to play that round of golf.I know that he now has a tee time on Gods course and is hitting the ball straighter than he has ever had!!! 
Sometimes we forget that our parents are not immortal even though we think so at times. Cherish the fact that you had a great relationship with your Dad.
 Talk to your family and tell them you Love them every day. My Prayers are with you all in this very hard time in your lives.

My thoughts and prayers, go out to you & your family. Take it from heart there will not be a day that you will not think of your father ... I do everyday ... The memories are the best thing I could ever have, and I am sure they will be for you also.

Deb, Mere words cannot explain how much my heart hurts for you and your family over the loss of your father. Unfortuntely I never had the privledge of meeting him but I'm sure I would've loved him as I do you. Thank you for giving me a glimpse into his life. Love you....Suz.

Daddy, I am still at a loss for words. I miss you so much, and I can still picture you sitting in your favorite chair with Bianca purring on your lap, and the channel changer in your hand.  You have been the best father anyone could ask for, and have touched so many people with your humor, and greatness. I don't know if you knew how proud I am of you,for achieving everything you set out to do. And being the Family man that you were. I know you will always be watching over us, and we will take care of Mommy, the love of your life, since before you even knew her name, when she was buying ice cream from the ice cream truck at the age of 14. I may not have told you this enough, but Thank you.. For everything... for being you, for loving me no matter what, and for putting smiles on so many faces, including those at the hospital where you volunteered.  You will be missed by so many, always loved, and never forgotten.  I Love you Daddy, and miss you so much...  Debbie

Today the scholarship committee met to discuss the student's for this year's awards. Don's work was all complete and precise. It was so sad for us, for Don not to be with us, to discuss his students. Once I asked, "what would Don say about this student?" Don was loved and respected by the staff and other volunteers.

Sooner born and Sooner bred . . . We'll miss you Mr. Schmid . . .
