Dorothy M. Hart

Dorothy M. Hart passed away on Thursday October 10, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born on January 10, 1924 in Macedonia Ohio, to Henry and Arlene (Van Nostran) Holbrook. She and her four children moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1973, before her marriage she was an Assistant Manager of the Beauty Salon at the old May Company on Public Square in Cleveland, Ohio. In Florida she was a Unit Secretary at Medical Center Hospital for 17 years. after her retirement she went back to Charlotte Regional Medical Center as a Volunteer in the Surgical Waiting Room, she volunteered for about six years. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Linda Hart, Port Charlotte Fl, Her sons, James(Angela) Hart Chattanooga TN, Keith (Diane) Hart, Sarasota Fl, and Dan Hart, Port Charlotte Fl, Grandchildren Cheryl Hart Groves(Steve) of Port Charlotte FL, Jimmy (Brittany), Catie,Torey and Rylie Hart of Chattanooga TN and Michael Messina of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Danielle Hart of Sarasota Fl, Great Grandchildren Tillie,Ryan, Caleigh of Chattanooga TN, and Carter Groves of Port Charlotte FL. Siaters,Gail (Charles) Exton of Northfield, OH, Betty (Walt) Bartley, Mt Vernon OH, Sisters in law Rita (AL) Flanagan, Richfield. OH, Catherine (Lawrence) Politzer, Burton, OH, Brother in law, Robert Hart of Senecaville, OH. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. she was predeceased by her loving husband Leo in 1962 and her sister Jean Adams in 2005.
