She moved to the Englewood area from Martinsburg, West Virginia. She retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of Captain after 32 years of service. She was employed by H & R Block of Englewood since 1989 and was an enrolled agent since 2004.
She was a very active member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Englewood, as a Deacon and a choir member. She sang with the Sweet Adelines, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her sister, Virginia S. Reisenweber and her brother, William L. Stephens, III both of Martinsburg, West Virginia.
