Douglas Reynold Jesanis, Age 66 of Glastonbury, Connecticut., passed away at home on January 22, 2009, with his wife and son at his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Grace Jesanis, of Manchester, CT. He graduated from the University of Miami and served in Army Reserve for 12 years. Douglas and his wife were in the golf business for 38 years, in Northampton, MA and Cortland, NY. In his retirement years, Douglas enjoyed playing golf, fishing, building replicas of cars and airplaines. He was a very kindhearted person and will be missed by all of his friends.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years and his son, Stephen Douglas of Merritt Island, FL. Douglas was predeceased by his daughter, Michelle Ann.
Entombment will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Forrest Nelson Blvd. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society at 992 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, Florida.
