Such a kind man. So sorry for your family's loss. He was always so welcoming when we came for get togethers at the house. We will miss his smile and laugh.

Since Doug was a little boy, he loved the outdoors. He was always looking for adventures and usually found them. I recall their home in Bradenton had a small pond behind it. Doug and his brothers “repurposed” one of their Dad’s old concrete mixing boxes and made a boat of it for the pond. Doug always loved hunting and fishing and just being out in nature. We had a Yoder family vacation in Virginia when Robyn and Doug spotted a huge rattle snake and told their Dad and at least one of their uncles where it was. That problem was quickly solved, the snake skinned, and became the reunion trophy. Doug was a terrific man who cared so deeply for his wife and family. Our love surrounds you.

You will truly be missed..Still doesn’t seem right that this had to happen to one of the greatest men I have ever met..You are the best father in law a man could have ever asked for. You raised a beautiful daughter, and a wonderful wife. I promise to take care of Brittney and provide for her for as long as I live. I love you Douglas Yoder..Rest easy father in law, and I’ll see you again one day..

Candace, my heart hurts for you and your family. I didn’t know him but the way Candice spoke about him was out of love and respect. I know he was the best example of a man , father , husband and grandfather to his family. He had a lot of love to give. And it showed because of the positive influence on your family. God bless you all.
