Edward A. Welsh 66 of Port Charlotte passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009. He was a resident for the past 15 years and was formally of Pittsburg, PA. He served 4 years in the US Air Force. He was an active member of the New Day Christian Church of Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughters: Michele Rodriguez, Carole Welsh and Jamie Dunn, son Duane Pinter, grandchildren: Sidnee, Brenden, Owen & Esme, mother Helen Welsh, brother Wayne Welsh, sister Norma Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 4th at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Boulevard. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday. Interment will be Monday, October 5th at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda. Arrangements are by Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Homes.
