Edward L Woods 68 of McAlpin, Florida and formerly of Englewood, Florida died November 13, 2012 after an extended illness. He was born December 8, 1943 in Middle River, Maryland to Thomas and Clara (Stewart) Woods.
Ed was a retired Ironworker out of Local 290 Dayton Ohio. His passion in life was restoring and racing muscle cars and Harley's. He enjoyed Nascar racing and loved the outdoors, especially elk/deer hunting and fishing the Gulf of Mexico for Tarpon. He will be missed by his many friends and remain in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Julia and 7 children. William (Suchland) Englewood Florida, Edward Jr. (Brenda) of Gainesville Florida, Clint (Sara), North Port, Florida, James, Middletown Ohio, Sandra Blanton, Middletown, Ohio, Nina Woods, Germantown, Ohio, Angela Schafer (Brad), Middletown, Ohio and 15 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren and his only sister Debra Woods, Middletown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother Clara Stewart, father, Thomas and only brother Thomas Haril.
