Steve and I are both thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. We are next-door neighbors and have fond memories of many occasions when we were invited to join the family for a summer meal. Elaine certainly had a wonderful wit about her and made me laugh on many occasions. She enjoyed being surrounded by family. Asking God to comfort your family during what is always a very difficult time.

Elaine was so beautiful as a young woman. When she and Jerry got married, I was a kid and thought they were just like Prince Charming and Cinderella. Elaine gave me my first cookbook, a Betty Crocker cookbook I still have. There are many fond memories of cook outs with them at my parents' house. Elaine loved to laugh and she was an amazing story teller.

Elaine and my mother were lifelong friends. Elaine was a wonderful cook, and a strong yet kind woman. We spent a lot of our childhood with their family. Elaine and Jerry were always a couple I looked up to. I will forever cherish memories of this sweet woman. My condolences to the family. May your memories give you some comfort during this difficult time.
