
Elizabeth �"Betty†Grady Egbert beloved Mother and Grandmother departed this earth on March 12, 2016. She was born October 9, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pa. She was a 1941 graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School. Betty went on to reside with her husband in Havertown, Pa and was employed with Weinberg’s Department Store, Manoa, Pa as a jewelry buyer. She moved to North Port, Florida in 2010 and most recently became a resident of The Springs at South Biscayne, North Port, Fl. Betty’s biggest smile was in the presence of children or puppies. She enjoyed spending her summers in Anglesea, North Wildwood, NJ with her family. She was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. She will be most remembered for her infamous quotes and one-liners. She had a wit and charm that will not be forgotten.
Betty is survived by her son William (Anne Dever) Egbert, daughter Jeanne (Thomas) Gallo and sister Mary Fitzpatrick. She was a loving, humorous grandmother and known as �"Nan†to 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Harry A. Egbert, daughter Suzanne Egbert Giuliano, brother in law James Fitzpatrick and grandson Tristan Giuliano.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am April 2, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 105 Wilson Avenue, Havertown, Pa, immediately following a burial at Calvary Cemetery, Gulph Road and Matsonford Road, Conshohocken, Pa.
