Elizabeth Betty Louise Gray Mauger, 87, of Punta Gorda and formerly of Good Samaritan Village, Kissimmee, died Tuesday, November 17. She was born in Kansas City, MO, on April 16, 1922, to Maud Louise Cole and Robert M. Gray. She was married to the late George N. Mauger, Jr., for 58 years. Betty was a missionary with the Latin America Mission for 30 years, a field staff worker for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship during World War II, and a graduate of Adelphi University, Garden City, New York. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Kissimmee. Survivors include her son, G. Nicholas Mauger, Tucson, Ariz.; daughters, Karen Gunn, Wellesley, Mass.; Louise Larson, Punta Gorda; Barbara Mauger Rothenberg, Pittsford, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, January 9, 2010 at St John's Episcopal Church, 1709 North John Young Parkway, Kissimmee, FL.
