Elizabeth "Betty" Schultz, 90, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away July 2, 2010. She was born July 14, 1919 in Detroit, MI and moved to this area in 1976 from Muskegon, MI. She had worked as an executive secretary in MI and locally had been a real estate agent when she first moved here. Betty was an active member of the Isles Yacht Club where she enjoyed the Bridge Club and the Singles Club. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda.
She is survived by her sister, Edith McKee of Cincinnati, OH and nephew Michael Trabue, his wife Susan, and their children, Victoria, Allison and Sean all of Sidney, OH. She was pre deceased by her husband Gaylord "Smitty" Smith, whom she was married to for over thirty years and husband Charles Schultz.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday July 10, 2010 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Inurnment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Cincinnati, OH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of Betty be made to the American Heart Assoc at americanheart.org.
