Elizabeth "Bette" Stalder, 83, of Punta Gorda, FL and Ft Wayne, IN died February 5, 2008. She was born September 23, 1924 in Ft Wayne, IN to JW and Gen Furste. She was an Engineer Secretary for 40 years before retiring for Peter Eckrich & Sons in Ft Wayne. Bette enjoyed bowling and playing golf. She was always the life of the party and was very well liked by many many friends. She always had a joke to tell and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glen Stader, whom she married Nov 10, 1945; her daughter Jeanne E. Bruick of Coldwater, MI and Punta Gorda, FL; nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her parents and brother George Furste.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
