Elizabeth Clark Suckling, age 85, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Elizabeth was born in Tampa, the daughter of the late Julius and Elinor Clark. She attended Dormont high school in Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated in 1956. Her achievements include: Hotel hostess for the 70’s Steelers for pregame meals, also worked in banking and retail. She was a charter member of South Hills Community Baptist Church, while playing the church organ. She enjoyed many hobbies and was a sports fan, golfer, animal lover, played video games, puzzles, crane arcade machines, and cards. She was warm, personable, easy going, friendly, cheerful, and resilient. She had two children: Debbie and Clark Suckling; sisters Sharon Nelson and Nelle White; grand children Angela Russell, Richard Lemmeyer, Timothy Suckling (deceased), Laura Duncan, Karen Suckling, David Suckling, and Nicole Bowles. Preceding her in death is Elinor Wood, her twin, and Andy Clark. She also had 8 great grandchildren.
