Emily Inez Boatright

Emily Inez Boatright, 62, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away March 31, 2009. She was born June 3, 1946 in Punta Gorda and has lived here all her life. She was a dearly loved woman, who made everyone she met smile. She loved the outdoors, gardening, wildlife and most of all, her family.

Emily was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and granny. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Andrea Allen Messner and James V. Boatright; grandchildren, Brittany Messner, Macy Messner, Wyatt Boatright, Colt Boatright, Hunter Boatright, James Boatright, Jr and Emily Victoria Ann Boatright; mother, Louise Lowe, brother, Frank "Buddy" Lowe; sisters, Verna May Gary Smith, Debbie Glenn Lee and Velma Brown; many nieces and nephews, as well as her good friend, James DuBois. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Lowe, brother Alan Lowe and her husband, Richard Boatright.

The Visitation will be from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Indian Springs Cemetery. If bringing food to share for the Fellowship Luncheon after the service, please drop off at Brenda's Resturant, prior to coming to the funeral home on Saturday. Thank you
