Emily Irene Olson, 90 of Port Charlotte, Florida died Thursday March 29, 2007. Mrs. Olson was born on January 20, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew and Bessie Johnson. Mrs. Olson moved to Port Charlotte in 1974 coming from Bensenville, Illinois and First Alliance Church of Port Charlotte.
Survivors include her son, Bob Yvonne Olson of Bartlett, Illinois; her daughters, Ruth Rich Henricksen of Orlando, FL and Jean Steve Ross of Port Charlotte; her 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Olson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday April 1, 2007 at 2:00PM until 5:00PM at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel, 2405 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte.
Funeral Services will be held Monday April 2, 2007 at 10:00AM at First Alliance Church, 20444 Midway Blvd. Burial will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
