Eric J. Maupin

Eric James Maupin 23, of Port Charlotte, Florida died on June 5, 2011 in Port Charlotte, Florida.

He was born on July 21, 1987 in Flint, Michigan and moved to Port Charlotte, Florida from Mt. Morris, Michigan in 1989. Eric was a graduate of Port Charlotte High School and a self employed painter.

He is survived by his father, Andres Garcia and mother, Tonya Garcia of Port Charlotte, Florida; his 2 brothers, Michael B. (Kelly) Maupin and daughter, Meah, and Ryan A. Garcia; his grandmother, Betty M. Vincent: and many uncles, aunts, cousins and lots of wonderful friends. Eric was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry B. Vincent.

Visitation Thursday June 9, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Kays-Ponger and Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida.

Funeral services, Friday June 10, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida. Burial will follow at Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery 1380 Forrest Nelson Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations. Please make donations payable to Andres and Tonya Garcia.
