She was born on February 10, 1924 in New York City and came to Port Charlotte, Florida from New Jersey in 1984. Erina was a bookkeeper for Chase Manhattan Bank, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a volunteer at Peace River Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Irene Clovis Whitfield of London, England, her 2 sons, James and Anthony Cioffi, both of New Milford, New Jersey and 7 grandchildren. Erina was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph and her daughter, Lisa.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 11:00 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
