
Estaline Davidson Pence passed away peacefully at the Sunset Health and Rehabilitation Center, Venice Dec. 7th at the age of 95. She was born in Seaman, Ohio in 1914.
She was loved by all who knew her. She was an extraordinary tailor and seamstress. She also loved to make artful quilts and crocheted items. She was born in Seaman, Ohio in 1914. An Englewood, Florida resident since 1970, she owned and operated the Sunset Bay Motel in Englewood and later worked for Bealls Department Store for 21 years doing alterations. In Hillsboro, Ohio she and her husband owned the Pence Sewing Machine Company for 35 years. She was active in the Business and Professional. Women's Association.
Estaline was preceded in death by her husband Homer Harrison Pence, and Brothers Floyd and William Davidson of New Vienna, Ohio. She is survived by brother Charles Davidson, 93, of Hillsboro, Ohio, and by children Phyllis Pence Scanlan of South Carolina and James Pence of Miami, grandchildren Mark Mullins and his daughter Shannon Mullins of South Carolina, and grandchildren Sam Pence, and George Pence, and his children Ben, Alex and Sophie of Pleasant Hill, California. Services for the family will be held.
