She was born Oct. 12, 1909 in Pittsburgh, PA to Nils and Anna Swanson. Eva graduated from Peabody HS in Pittsburgh and from Augustana College in Rock Island, ILL with a BA degree majoring in languages.
She married Keith Henderson in 1935 and was blessed with 2 children. Keith was supervisor of highways in Saybrook, Ohio, retiring to FL in 1972. They were married 67 years until his death in 2002.
Eva is survived by her 2 children, Barry Henderson of Bastrop, TX and Kathy Myers of Englewood, FL, grandchildren Matthew Henderson of Seattle, WA, Nathan Henderson of Boston, MA, and 3 great grandchildren.
Eva was an early member of Faith Lutheran Church in Rotonda. Her interests included: her Church, reading, gardening, crafts, and making hand-made greeting cards.
