Florence Cabana, 95, of Venice, Florida died Thursday March 8, 2012. Mrs. Cabana was born October 28, 1916 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Eugene and Anna (Marcet) Gervais. Mrs. Cabana moved to Venice in 1981 from Miami, Florida.
She was a member of Epiphany Cathedral Church and a member of the Choir, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Suncoast Chorale and a hospice volunteer.
Mrs. Cabana is survived by her son, William A. Cabana of Venice; sister, Jeanette Picard of Rhode Island; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home & Cremation Services Venice Chapel.
