Frances M. Mrozek, 73, of Punta Gorda, FL died February 23, 2007. She was born October 17, 1933 in Glen Cove, NY and moved to this area 10 years ago from Locust Valley, NY. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the Performing Arts Center, the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce, the Charlotte County Health Dept and R.S.V.P.
She is survived by her son, Ed Mrozek Jr of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Evelyn Eckhardt of Punta Gorda, FL; grandsons, Edward John and Andrew Michael Mrozek, both of Morrisville, NC; sisters, Jean Post of Mesa, AZ and Betty Nigro of Jacksonville, FL
A Mass will be dedicated in her memory at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
