He was born on July 20, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts to John S. McNeil
and Muriel Overton McNeil. Francis came to Port Charlotte, Florida from
South Boston in 2003, he worked as a power engineer for 17 years and a
truck driver for local #25 for 17 ½ years. Francis attended First Alliance
Church of Port Charlotte.
Survivors include his wife, Erma of 39 years of Port Charlotte, Florida and
his 3 brothers, John of Oviedo, Florida, Alan (Maureen) of Cape Cod, Ma and
Daniel (Jackie) of Weymouth, Ma, his sister, Peggy (Kevin) Ridge of
Hartford, Maine and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death
by his brother, Stephen and his sister, Jeanette Mamaty.
Visitation Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at
11:00 a.m. at First Alliance Church 20444 Midway Blvd, Port Charlotte,
Florida. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, Fl
