Fred C. Haynes, 93 of Englewood, Florida died December 3, 2009. He was born July 1, 1916 in Castleton, Ontario, Canada where he lived for 30 years, then moving to Rochester, New York for 30 years, before moving to Englewood for 33 years.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #360 of Englewood, a Thirty Second Degree Mason, the Sahib Temple of Sarasota and a longtime active member of the Englewood Elk's Lodge #2378, where he made a lot of friends and he enjoyed their company very much.
He was a World War II veteran of the Canadian Infantry.
Fred enjoyed life to the fullest and he will be missed by many.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Haynes Beth of Largo, Florida, 2 granddaughters, Cheryl Haynes and Brenda David Scheck, 4 great granddaughters and many family members. He was predeceased by his wife Marguerite.
