Services will be private, with inurnment in Hawaii. Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Venice Chapel is handling arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Leah: children Floyd, David, Kenneth, Michael, Michael Stone and Sherri Stone; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Johnson was a member of the Sarasota/Bradenton Elks, and he and Leah traveled the country as members of the Southeast Bus Nuts, the Southeast Cruisers, and the Old Hounds. Fred will be missed by all who knew and loved him, and will be laid to rest in his favorite place.
