On September 16, 2024, long time resident of Port Charlotte George S. Shreve, age 67, departed this earth and passed on to his eternal home. He is survived by his mother, Gerda Shreve, his sisters Deborah Indseth and Julie Stevens and their families.
George was a good friend, a proud loyal citizen of this great country, a beloved son and brother firmly founded in Christ. He lived a life of service to others and was happiest onboard his boat deep water fishing. His heart was bound by his love of the ocean depths and all its bounty.
Old friend, you’ll be sorely missed. For now, grief but that grief will transition into laughter and joy as we celebrate your full and happy life. We pray you an eternal voyage of “Fair winds and following seas.”
