Gertrude Olive Clark, 97, of Port Charlotte, FL died May 31, 2007. She was born November 20, 1909 in Warren, IN and moved to this area in 1941 from Noblesville, IN. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte.
Gertrude is survived by her sons, Donald Martha Clark of Port Charlotte, FL; Richard Linda Clark of Tampa, FL and John Cindy Clark of Port Charlotte, FL; daughters, Phyllis Daughtrey of Ft Meade, FL and Esther Dolan of Port Charlotte, FL; sisters, Vivian Foudy of Huntington, IN and Opal Moore of Marion, IN; 18 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
The Visitation will be from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, Tuesday June 5, 2007 at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Indian Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte, 20035 Quesada Ave, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
