Glenn Blackmon, age 62 of North Port, FL passed away March 2, 2019. He was born February 27, 1957 in Jacksonville, FL to Roy and Agnes (Stewart) Blackmon. Glenn loved fishing and boating. He also enjoyed going to the beach on weekend trips, but most importantly spending time with his family. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Roy Blackmon. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruthanne Blackmon; his children, Melissa (Chris) Zaferis, Robyn (Alex) Davis, and Lindsay Blackmon; grandchildren, Alex, Eleni and Jason Zaferis, and Ryan Davis; and his brother Herschel Blackmon. Visitation for Glenn will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10 – 11 am with a service beginning at 11 am at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home; 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
