Harry W. "Butch" Gaskill, III, 62, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away September 7, 2012. He was born February 16, 1950 in Ft Myers, FL to Harry W. and Rhoda (Holt) Gaskill, Jr. He was the grandson of the former Punta Gorda Chief of Police, Sim Holt. Butch loved his family and visiting with others, he enjoyed life in Punta Gorda. He once had his own band, he was part owner of the Gilded Grape Bar in Punta Gorda as well as part owner of a carpet store in Charlotte Harbor. He was a member of the Charlotte Harbor Wild Cats Sand Lot football team and was the proud owner of the Billy Goat Hammock Ranch on Shell Creek.
