Henry C. Wright, 91, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away February 7, 2010. He was born August 5, 1918 in Constantine, KY and moved to Punta Gorda in 1985 from Flint, MI. He served in the US Air Force as a pilot during both WWII and the Korean War. He retired in 1978 from General Motors where he had worked for forty years as a Parts Warehouse Manager at several plant locations. Locally, he was the former President of the Board of Directors for Eagle Point and was a member of the First Christian Church in Punta Gorda.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anathlee Wright; sons, Henry J. Wright and Thomas G. Wright; four grandchildren, Thomas, Anjelica, Alyssa and Nathan and a great grandson, Joaquin.
Services will be held later this week in Irvington, KY with burial at the Hudson Cemetery in Hudson, KY. A Memorial Service will be held locally at a later date.
