Inez L. Peters, 79, of Port Charlotte, Florida died March 8, 2009. She was born on February 4, 1930 in Kasson, Minnesota to Lester and Irene Nelson Musolf.
She moved to the area from Crystal Lake, Illinois. She was a retired Office Supervisor for Kemper Insurance in Lake Zurich, Illinois.
She was a member of the Gulf Cove United Methodist Church, friends of the Englewood Charlotte Library, Charlotte County Jazz Society, Florida West Coast Jazz Record Collectors, International Association of Jazz Record Collectors, Café Philo and an Officer in Pro's and Poetry Society both of Southport Square Retirement Village in Port Charlotte.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Smith of Gulf Breeze, Florida; her sons, Barry Peters of Moorpark, California and Tracy Julie Peters of Crystal Lake, Illinois; her brother, Paul Nelson of Valrico, Florida; her sister, Sharon Middaugh of Kilgore, Texas and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at Lemon Bay Funeral Home Englewood Chapel.
