Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home, Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Venice Chapel has been selected to handle arrangements.
Survivors include his stepsons Richard of New Smyrna Beach, Kevin of Nokomis, and Michael of Fernandina Beach, daughter Susan Patev, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
He retired from Amtrak as a Switchman, and relocated to Venice with his wife Gloria, who preceded him in death. A member of VFW Post 8118, and a lifetime member of B.P.O. Elks, he is also survived by his sister Jane Damon of Rockland, MA, and companion Rolande Pepin of Venice.
