It's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since we met Jim as our realtor looking for our retirement home but he really was our first friend here. He quickly took us under his wing; overseeing the construction of our home while we were still "up north", teaching us about the water and sharing his boat.
We soon found out that his generosity was well known throughout the community in many organizations, including Kiwanis, where Jim introduced Ed as "his cousin".
We will always remember Jim as the "Big Man with the Bigger Heart".

I am so sorry for your loss, He was a nice and sweet gentleman who always had a kind word and a story for this receptionist. It was a pleasure to know him.

Dear Jackie, Jim was a moving force in Port Charlotte for a long time. When I first moved there, he was my mentor when it came to organizations such as Special Olympics, and he was a valued advisor when a few of us founded ARC of Charlotte County. I will never forget the fun times we had with the St. Joe's Foundation. Please accept the deepest condolences of the Mungovan family. God Bless You Jackie.
