

Janet M. Davidson of Englewood, FL, age 80, passed away on February 5, 2014. Her loving husband, David L. Davidson, has been by her side through her long illness. Janet was born in Waltham, MA, and attended Boston University where she became a Physical Therapist. Initially she worked at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she worked for the National Society for Cripple Children. It was there she met her husband of 55 years. After getting married in the Boston University Chapel they moved to Seattle, Washington. Eventually they settled in Sudbury, Massachusetts where their 4 children were raised. Having spent most summers in Deerfield, NH they then relocated there year round in 1987. In 1988 they purchased their home in Englewood, FL where they spent their winters. Janet is survived by her husband, her brother Gerald Richardson and sister Joan White. She is pre-deceased by her parents Vaughn and Myrtle Richardson of Waltham, MA. She was dearly cherished by her four children, Philip (Lorraine) Davidson of Deerfield, NH, Neal (Christina) Davidson of Sterling, MA, Marsha Davidson of Warsaw, Poland and Joanne (Jens) Ibsen of Tampa, FL. Together they have seven grandchildren: David (Kristen), Russell (Jennifer), Marshall (Christina), Joshua (Jillian) and Benjamin Davidson and Daniel and Christina Ibsen. She also has two great grandchildren Jamie and John Davidson.
