Janice Elaine Clayton (Twiss), 56, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Saturday September 3, 2011 at her home. She was born May 2, 1955 in Arcadia, FL to Donald and Joyce Channel. Janice was a cancer survivor and had been in remission for thirteen years. She was an incredible mother, "Momo" (grandmother), friend and a beloved Publix employee. She was dearly loved and will always be missed.
She is survived by her four daughters, Sonya (Arnold) Butler of Pt Charlotte, FL; Amanda (John) Cosler of Cavalier, ND; Jessica Taylor of Tallahassee, FL and Stephanie Twiss of Punta Gorda, FL; nine grandchildren, Wesley Taylor, Aaron and Mason Butler all of Pt Charlotte, FL; Cianne Sloan and Kyleigh Cosler both of Cavalier, ND; Gabriel Evans of Tallahassee, FL; Angelina "Ladybug" and Michael Pearson and Steven Walker, all of Punta Gorda, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
