Mrs. Webb was born in Danbury, CT on October 2, 1949, she was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother. Janice retired in 2014 from The Home Depot after working there for over 15 years. She was known for her warm smile and welcoming hello. Anyone who has called her on the phone knows her sweet “helloooo.” Janice also worked for some time in construction and was also known to be “one tough lady” by everyone on the construction sites. She was a friend to all and known as the “fun aunt” by her nieces and nephews. Janice is survived by her three children, and ten grandchildren, Daughter Dawn Murphy, her husband Steve, and children Stephen, Sara and Sara’s husband Keegan, Daughter Lisa Urzua, her husband Eliodoro Urzua, and children Bryan, William, Christian, Kristofer, Kevin, and Amber, and Son Mark Caponera and his children Nicholas and Jakob. Janice is also survived by her twin sister Janet, sisters Coleen, Terry, Korrine, and brother Dwayne. Janice was a dog lover all her life and leaves behind her beloved Yorkie Samantha. Janice also known as “Mema” is gone from us now but will never be forgotten. She remains in our hearts forever and will now lay at rest next to her beloved George again. Tragically Janice passed away after two days in the ER due to ICU beds not being available as a result of the pandemic. We urge anyone who reads this to wear a mask, get vaccinated and tell a friend to do the same.
Janice Webb’s wishes were to be cremated and buried next to her beloved husband. A burial service will be held at the Wooster Cemetery, Danbury, CT on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 11am to 12pm. The family asks everyone in attendance to please wear a mask.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.kayspongerpc.com for the Webb family.
