Jeanette Robertson Mills, age 86, passed away on May 3, 2026, in Arcadia, FL.
She was born on April 12, 1940, in Pompano Beach, FL, daughter of George Ervin Robertson, Sr. and Mary Christine Mott Robertson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Mills; sons, Loren Wallace Andrews Sr. and Larry Robertson Andrews; three brothers, Ervin Jr, Jim, and John; and two sisters, Harriet and Dorothy.
She is survived by one son, Charles Lee Andrews (Karen) of NC and one daughter, Elizabeth Andrews Witmer (Bill) of NC. Jeanette had 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Jeanette loved North Carolina, the mountains in particular. She was a wonderful gardener. One of her greatest pride and joys was her orchids. She was very blessed with a green thumb. She loved to sit and watch hummingbirds, squirrels and deer. She was definitely made for country life. And she loved to listen to Neil Diamond for hours. He was her absolute favorite musician.
A viewing was held on May 7, 2026, between 7:00-7:30 at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd in Port Charlotte, FL. Cremation to follow. Some of her ashes will be scattered alongside her father in Pompano Beach and some in the mountains of North Carolina.
