John W. Cahill, 82, of Englewood, Florida died Friday March 11, 2011 in Port Charlotte. Mr. Cahill was born June 8, 1928 in Bronx, New York to John F. and Grace (Dever) Cahill. Mr. Cahill retired from AT& T, a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church and a veteran of WWII serving with the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Cahill of Englewood; daughters, Linda A. Syme of Highland Lakes, NJ and Laurie J. McNulty of Paramus, NJ; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Daniel, Colleen and Rachel; step daughter, Helen Picciano of New York City.
