John was born January 18, 1963 in Montclair, New Jersey. He lived in Pine Brook, New Jersey until the mid 1980’s when he relocated to Florida.
He was a Chef and worked for Bill & Shirley Gillan for over 30 years. He loved to go to the beach and watch the sunset every night. He was so excited and happy and looking forward to becoming a grandfather in December 2016. He loved watching the New York Giants Football and the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey.
John is survived by his loving parents, Edward (Ted) and Phyllis Child, his sister, Dawn Child, his daughter Brittany Child, Uncle and Aunt Fred and Kathi Child, Aunts Catherine Datre, Joan Vasile, and many loving cousins and devoted friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Filomena Onorato and Edward and Viola Child.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Child Family.
