John William Hunter, III, 66, of North Port, FL passed away Friday, March 30, 2007 in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was born July 20, 1940 in Richmond, Virginia. John served in the United States Army and worked in water purification in Korea. Most of his career life was spent as a salesman for various companies. He enjoyed photograhy, culinary arts, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by his children; John William Hunter, IV; Wendi Dawn Blatt and her husband, Tim; Michael Shawn Hunter and his wife, Karen; and, Amy Wolstenholme; nine grandchildren; Alyson, Brandon, Christiaan, Madison, Kyle, Amanda, Jared, Logan, and Hannah; sister, Jacqueline Kalbas and her husband William. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Hunter; his father, John William Hunter, JR; and his mother, Ruby W. Hunter a year ago.
A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
