John Miranto Jr.

John "Jack" Miranto, Jr. of Port Charlotte,FL went home to be forever with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 5, 2025. He was 89 years old. He was the son of John Miranto and Anne (Rossow) Fricovsky. Jack was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and served in many positions for over forty years in the local Assemblies of God church.  He loved his country, the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, the New York Yankees ,his hometown North Tonawanda High School teams but loved his family most of all. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father John Fricovsky. He is survived by the love of his life his wife of almost 67 years Sandra, sons Jack and Joel (Michelle) and daughter Marla whom he never stopped loving. Jack is also survived by granddaughters Joelle (Cory) Fulmer and Julie (Caden) Childs and great- grandkids Cora and Callum Fulmer. He also leaves behind brother Joe(Della) and sister Joan, nephew Keith (Nancy) and niece Jody and other grand nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 2pm at Sarasota National Cemetery on February 11, 2025. There will be no prior visitation. In lieu of flowers please donate to Community Life Church A/G in Port Charlotte,Fl.  Jack is now rejoicing in the presence of Jesus but he is totally dependent on all those he knew and loved in this life to receive Christ as Saviour as he did so he can see them again in heaven.
