Joseph was the son of the late Thomas and Catherine Cullen of Peabody, MA. He spent most of his life in MA and gave 39 years of service as a teacher in the Framingham public schools. In retirement, Joe and his wife moved to Port Charlotte, FL where he enjoyed reading, playing bocce and lawn bowling. He was involved with numerous community organizations, and was an active member of the San Antonio Catholic Church. He was honored to be a 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus.
Joseph is survived by Nancy, his loving wife of 53 years, and his five children: Kathleen Cullen of Punta Gorda, FL; Joe Cullen (Catherine) of Amherst, MA; Kerry Morgan (James) of Medway, MA; Kevin Cullen (Weijuan) and Kristine Slamin (Christopher) all of Framingham, MA. He leaves six grandchildren: Elizabeth, Haley, Matthew, Brianna, Cassidy and Lia. He will be missed greatly by all, including his many nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to list.
