She was born on September 19, 1925 in Haverhill, Massachusetts to Charles
Birmingham and Josephine McLaughlin Birmingham. She came to Port
Charlotte, Florida from Lincroft, New Jersey in 1972. Dolly had worked in State Government, City Government and County Government as a Registered Nurse before moving to Florida.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Jane) Mason of Port Charlotte, Florida, Ann (Donald ) Marcus of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, and Robert T. Mason of Belmar, New Jersey, Step-son, Gerald (Dorothy) Dessart of Westbury, New York and Step-daughter in law, Ruth Dessart of Long Island, New York, also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Therese A. Mason and Edward B. Dessart.
Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Inurnment to follow in the Church Memorial Garden.
