Larry Laishley, 52 of Punta Gorda, died November 17, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Punta Gorda, the town he loved so much. Larry loved the outdoors and spent time with family and friends on Charlotte Harbor. He was very outgoing and loved by everyone. He was caring and had a smile and a joke for all he met. He is survived by his wife Cindy, Mother Bette Laishley King Alan, daughter Nicole Laishley, stepson Ken Miller, two grandchildren Jade and Kayla, brother Bruce Barbara, niece Brandi and nephews Brian and Brad, and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins and many friends too numerous to mention. Services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at The United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda. Arrangements entrusted to Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, Punta Gorda 639-1133. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice or The United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda.
